After beating the legendary Juan Francisco Estrada in June, WBC super flyweight champion Jesse 'Bam' Rodriguez returns to the ring this weekend in Philadelphia.
The American will be going up against Pedro Guevara, who edged a split decision win over Andrew Maloney six months ago.
A win for Rodriguez would give him the necessary momentum to pursue a number of huge unification fights in 2025.

What has been said?
Jesse 'Bam' Rodriguez Said:
I wanted to get in one more fight before the end of the year,” said Rodriguez, who announced a new promotional pact with Matchroom Boxing days before the fight. “Sharing a card with Boots is an honor for an event that big and it's a good opportunity for me to expose myself to another side of the boxing world.
It's a blessing. Not many fighters even have one champion that they are training with,” said Rodriguez. “To have multiple world champions with the same dream, we all feed off of each other's energy. It's a huge advantage. When I’m in the gym I’m always watching sparring. The sparring I see is better than most fights on TV.
Pedro Guevar said:
My training now is at its peak and it is very exacting, but we are accustomed to work extra hard and so much more for this one, because it`s going to be a hard and tough fight. This is for the super-flyweight championship of the world. I`m lowering down my weight trimming nicely, to be totally ready and prepared for the fight on November 9th in Philadelphia.
