Efe Ajagba (16-1, 13 KOs) and Stephan Shaw (18-0, 13 KOs) are scheduled to face each other in the 10-round bout non-title heavyweight main event in New York on Saturday.
Oscar Rivas was scheduled to fight 28-year-old Ajagba but had to withdraw due to an eye injury, and is replaced by shaw. Ajagba will now face unbeaten “Big Shot” Stephan Shaw. Ajagba is a Nigerian boxer who is renowned for his strength and punching ability. Both competitors use the orthodox fighting stance.
Stephan Shaw was very active last year, engaging in three fights. The 30-year-old Shaw most recently won an eight-round fight against Detroit's Rydell Booker (27-7-1, 14 KOs) on November 22 at Edison Ballroom in New York by unanimous decision.
