Jake Paul announced his return to the boxing ring as he fights on March 2 on the undercard for Amanda Serrano vs. Nina Meinke, shown live on DAZN.

Paul's last fight was against Andre August back in December as he made it back-to-back wins, having beaten Nate Diaz in August. He suffered his first pro defeat to Tommy Fury in February last year. He now boasts an 8-1 record with five KOs.

His cruiserweight opponent Bourland has a 17-2 record, with six knockouts, and at 35 years old has plenty of experience. 

Bourland’s most recent action was in September 2022 when he beat Santario Martin by knockout.

    On having less experience than his opponent, Paul added: “That’s why we wanted Ryan Bourland.

    “This is going to be a test, and I need these rounds under my belt.”
