TERMS AND CONDITIONS
This page, together with the documents referred to on it, sets out the terms and conditions on which we supply products (“Products”) through www.ringmastersports.com (“Site”) and through our store.
Please read these terms carefully before placing an order. By placing an order, you agree to be bound by them. These terms do not affect your statutory consumer rights.
1. Information About Us
This Site is owned and operated by RingMasterUK Ltd, registered company number 09699840, trading as RingMaster (“RingMaster”, “we”, “us” or “our”).
Our address is Unit 3, Capitol Shopping Centre, Queen Street, Cardiff, CF10 2HQ, United Kingdom.
2. Eligibility
- You must be legally capable of entering into a binding contract to place an order.
- If you are under 18, you may only place an order with the consent of a parent or guardian.
- You must provide accurate and complete contact, payment and order information.
3. The Contract Between Us
When you place an online order, you are making an offer to purchase the Products included in that order. An order acknowledgement confirms that we have received your order but does not necessarily mean that we have accepted it.
For delivery orders, a contract is normally formed when we send you a dispatch confirmation. For online collection orders, a contract is normally formed when we confirm that your order is ready for collection.
For collection orders placed in-store, the contract is normally formed when we confirm the order and accept payment, unless we tell you otherwise at the time.
If we cannot accept an order after taking payment, we will cancel it and refund the amount paid.
4. Your Responsibilities
- You must check your order details and tell us promptly if anything is incorrect.
- You must provide an email address and other contact details that you check regularly.
- You are responsible for keeping your account password and login details secure.
- You must inform us if your contact or account information changes.
5. Prices and Payment
Prices are shown in pounds sterling and include VAT where applicable. Any delivery charges will be shown separately before you complete your purchase.
You confirm that the payment method used belongs to you or that you have the account holder’s permission to use it. Payment is subject to authorisation and validation by the payment provider.
If we discover an obvious pricing error before accepting your order, we may cancel the order and provide a full refund.
Payment information will be processed securely and handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
6. Reviews and Submitted Content
Any review, comment, photograph or other content submitted to us must be lawful, accurate and must not infringe another person’s rights.
By submitting content, you give RingMaster a non-exclusive, royalty-free and worldwide licence to use, reproduce, publish and display that content for marketing, promotional and operational purposes.
7. Our Liability
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation or defective Products where liability cannot legally be excluded.
We are responsible for losses that are a foreseeable result of our breach of these terms. We are not responsible for losses that were not foreseeable when the contract was formed.
Products are supplied for private and domestic use unless we have agreed otherwise in writing. We are not responsible for business losses, including loss of profit, revenue, contracts, anticipated savings, data or business opportunity.
Any health, fitness or training information supplied by us is general information only and is not a substitute for advice from a qualified healthcare professional.
Nothing in this section affects your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or other applicable consumer legislation.
8. Processing of Orders
Orders are subject to Product availability, payment authorisation and any necessary security checks. We may contact you if we need additional information to process an order.
Payment may be taken when you place your order. For pre-order Products, payment may be taken before the advertised release or availability date.
We will notify you when a collection order is ready. Please do not travel to the store until you have received confirmation unless a member of staff has told you that the order is ready.
8A. Collection Orders
This section applies to all Products paid for in advance and designated for collection from one of our stores. It covers collection orders placed online or in-store. We do not accept orders by telephone.
For collection orders placed in-store, these collection terms will be brought to your attention before or at the time payment is taken.
You must provide accurate contact information so that we can notify you when your order is ready and contact you if it remains uncollected.
Collection period
You must collect your order within 60 calendar days from the date we notify you that it is ready for collection.
If an in-store order is ready immediately and no separate ready-for-collection notice is required, the 60-day period will begin on the date shown on your receipt or order confirmation.
Final collection notice
If your order has not been collected within the initial 60-day period, we will make reasonable efforts to contact you using the contact details supplied with the order.
We will send you a final collection notice giving you a further 28 calendar days to collect the order. The final deadline will be 28 calendar days after the notice is sent.
Cancellation and refund
If you do not collect the order before the final deadline, we may cancel the order and return the Products to stock.
If we cancel the order for this reason, we will refund the amount paid for the uncollected Products to the original payment method without undue delay and no later than 14 days after cancellation.
If the original payment method is no longer available, we will contact you to arrange a reasonable alternative refund method. The refund will remain due and will not be forfeited solely because the order was not collected.
Extensions and statutory rights
You may contact us before the final deadline to request additional collection time. Any extension will only apply if we confirm it in writing.
This collection procedure does not prevent you from exercising any statutory cancellation or refund rights earlier where those rights apply, including rights that may apply to online orders.
Different lawful terms may apply to personalised, bespoke or made-to-order Products where these were clearly disclosed before purchase.
This section applies only to collection orders placed on or after the date it is published on our Site. It does not apply retrospectively to earlier orders.
9. Gift Vouchers and Gift Certificates
- Gift vouchers may only be used for eligible purchases from RingMaster.
- Gift vouchers are valued and redeemed in pounds sterling.
- If an order costs more than the voucher value, the balance must be paid using an accepted payment method.
- Gift vouchers cannot be used to purchase additional gift vouchers unless we expressly allow this.
- Promotional vouchers may be subject to additional conditions stated when they are issued.
- Vouchers cannot be exchanged for cash except where required by law.
10. Waiver
If we do not immediately enforce any right under these terms, this does not mean that we have waived that right.
A waiver relating to one breach will not constitute a waiver of a later breach.
11. Website Use and Miscellaneous Terms
All intellectual property rights in the Site and its content are owned by or licensed to RingMaster. You may use the Site for personal, non-commercial purposes only.
You must not use a false identity, make an unauthorised payment, interfere with the operation of the Site or use the Site for unlawful or fraudulent purposes.
We may suspend an account or cancel an order where payment has not been received, these terms have been materially breached or we reasonably suspect fraud or unauthorised activity. Any cancellation and refund will be handled in accordance with applicable law.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may amend these terms by publishing an updated version on our Site. Updated terms will apply to future orders from the date they are published.
Unless required by law or expressly agreed with you, changes will not retrospectively alter the terms applying to an order that has already been accepted.
13. Entire Agreement and Severability
These terms and the policies referred to in them form the agreement between you and RingMaster concerning your order.
If any provision is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability for fraud or limits any statutory consumer rights that cannot legally be limited.
14. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These terms and any contract between you and RingMaster are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
If you live elsewhere in the United Kingdom, you will retain any mandatory legal protections and rights to bring proceedings in the courts available to you under applicable consumer law.
