After two back-to-back losses to Zhilei Zhang last year, Joe Joyce now needs to revive his career and once again climb the ladder to the top of the heavyweight division.

That journey starts later this year when Joyce takes on fellow Brit Kash Ali on a stacked card in Birmingham.

It will be win or bust for Joyce come the first bell and he will be hoping to send a message to the rest of the division with his performance.

Here's everything you need to know ahead of Joyce vs. Ali.

Joe Joyce vs Kash Ali

When is Joe Joyce vs Kash Ali?
Date: Saturday, March 16.
Time: 7 p.m. UK / 3 p.m. ET

The fight night will begin on Saturday, March 16 at 1 p.m. ET / 10 a.m. PT. The fight will be held at the Resorts World Arena in Birmingham, United Kingdom.

What has been said?

"Kash Ali bit my hand off for the fight,” smiled promoter Frank Warren. “We’re hopefully in a position where Joe capitalises on this and gets himself back in the swing.”

Joyce added: “Kash Ali is unpredictable but I think he’s a good fighter.

"I’ve had losses in the amateurs and come back and won medals and I’m going to do the same.

“I’m hungry and ready to get back to where I was at and get a heavyweight title.”

Ali has won 20 of his 22 pro fights and is trained by Rotherham-based Richard Towers.

He said: “Kash is hitting harder, he’s fitter, he’s a bit sharper, he’s got the experience, so he’s just going to go in there and give the best version of himself. I’ve got faith in him.”
